1. What we collect
- Account info: name, email, exam target, optional phone number.
- Learning data: lessons viewed, questions attempted, time spent, mistakes, confidence ratings, mock scores.
- Device telemetry: browser/OS, crash logs, anonymous usage metrics for product improvement.
- Communications: messages you send to Satya Madam, support tickets, contact-form submissions.
2. How we use it
- Personalise your study plan, weak-area diagnosis, rank projection, and Satya Madam responses.
- Send the notifications you've allowlisted (see Settings → Notifications).
- Diagnose product issues and improve features.
- With your explicit consent, share progress summaries with a parent/guardian via Parent Dashboard.
3. What we do NOT do
- We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
- We do not share individual student data with coaching institutes.
- We do not use your chats with Satya Madam to train external public models.
4. Data retention
Your data lives as long as your account does. When you delete your account, all personally identifiable data is removed within 30 days. Anonymised aggregate analytics may be retained for product research.
5. Security
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access to production data is limited to a small set of engineers and audited.
6. Your rights
- Access, export, or delete your data from Settings → Account.
- Revoke parent access at any time.
- Opt out of any notification category from Settings → Notifications.
7. Children
NeetRankers is intended for users aged 13 and above. Users under 18 should have a parent or guardian aware of their account.
